Peter J. Lydon, M.D., F.A.C.S

Peter J. Lydon, MD, FACS graduated from Boston University School of Medicine and went on to complete his surgical residency at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital of Boston. Dr. Lydon later became a teaching fellow in surgery at Tufts University School of Medicine. Dr. Lydon is dual-certified by the American Board of Surgery and the National Board of Medical Examiners.

Dr. Lydon is currently on staff at Norwood Hospital in Massachusetts, maintaining the following positions:

  • Chief of Surgery 2009 –2011, 2022 to present
  • Dr. Lydon also has privileges at The Good Samaritan Medical Center, St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center, and Southern New England Surgery Center
  • Medical Director, Surgical Intensive Care Unit: 1987-Present
  • Chairman Nomination Committee: 2001-2004
  • Medical Staff Executive Committee: 1996-2000, 2009-2011, 2014-present

Dr. Lydon was the President and Medical Director of The Eastern Massachusetts Surgery Center in Norwood from 2007 to 2011.

Brandon K. Tari, M.D., F.A.C.S

Dr. Tari graduated from New York Medical College and went on to complete his surgical residency at Tufts Medical Center in Boston. He is certified by the American Board of Surgery and the National Board of Medical Examiners. Dr. Tari is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He maintains privileges at Norwood Hospital, The Good Samaritan Medical Center, and at Southern New England Surgery Center.

Dr. Xu graduated from New York Medical College and went on to complete her surgical residency at UMass Medical College in Worcester. She also completed a UMass Biomedical Research Fellowship. She is certified by the American Board of Surgery and the national Board of Medical Examiners. Dr. Xu is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, a member of the Association of Women Surgeons (AWS), American Foregut Society, and Society of American Gastrointestinal & Endoscopic Surgeons (SAGES). She maintains privileges at Norwood Hospital, The Good Samaritan Medical Center, Nashoba Valley Medical Center, and Southern New England Surgery Center. In addition to English, Dr. Xu is fluent in Mandarin Chinese.
